LineWise is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data and your files never leave your computer.

Data We Don't Collect

LineWise processes all files locally on your Mac. We do not:

• Upload your files to any server
• Collect the contents of files you compare
• Track your usage or behavior within the app
• Use any analytics or tracking SDKs

Data We Store Locally

LineWise stores the following data locally on your Mac:

• Trial start date: To track your 3-day trial period
• License key: If you purchase, your license key is stored locally for validation

This data is stored in your Mac's standard preferences location and is not transmitted to us.

Purchase Data

When you purchase LineWise, the transaction is processed by Paddle.com, our authorized reseller. Paddle collects payment information necessary to complete your purchase. Please refer to Paddle's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle your data.

We receive from Paddle:

• Your email address (for license delivery and support)
• Transaction details (for our records)

Website

Our website (linewise-diff.vercel.app) is a static site hosted on Vercel. Vercel may collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited). We do not use cookies or tracking scripts on our website.
